Lots of things...

Always behind on this darn thing. I LOVE to read blogs and so badly wish I could blog regularly and have great, edited pictures. I have a nice camera but don't know how to use it. And, I definitely don't know how to edit. I actually haven't ever even tried. I will forever have a long list of things I'd like to do but don't get around to, I'm afraid.
First on the blog catch up, it totally happened...We moved :( It still doesn't feel real. I hate that this had to happen. I have to try and push it out of my head or I'm sure I'd go crazy. We are still waiting for the house to close. The buyers have had some financing issues but it sounds like it might happen this week. We've had a lot of traffic on Chris' Dad's house and it went under contract last week! HOORAY! One more bit of good news...We totally fell in love with a house over the weekend! It is on the most amazing lot up in Daybreak. We have been looking for about a month now and have liked a few builders, or plans but never felt that great about the location. That is until we drove up to this one! We are super excited and hope we can settle in and feel at home. It will be done in April.

On to other news... Mason got baptized! We were able to go down to St. George (thanks to the generosity of Mike and Martsi) to be there for his special day! Pretty much the whole family made it but Bronson and Chelcie and Jess. We sure missed them. I have decided that St. George is the place to be. I would move in a heartbeat if Chris could find a job. It is beautiful, relaxing and my sisters are there!!! I took my camera but failed to get any good pictures. (thanks mom for some of these shots)

Annie and I had a great time visiting with The Pioneer Woman. She is amazing! I was telling her how I had been reading her book in bed while my husband was next to me watching TV. I would randomly start laughing out loud because she is SO FUNNY! As we were getting ready to leave after she signed our books, she said, "say Hi to your hubby!" ha, ha, ha!

And, lastly, Happy (late) Valentine's Day! I found this cute card idea on freebies2deals
for the girls!

I decided to make a nice surprise dinner on Valentine's night for the fam. They loved it and I love them! (too bad I didn't take a picture after the table was set with the yummy food!)

Right after dinner that night, Ava ran outside to get in the car and faceplanted on the asphalt. OUCH! Her nose took the full force of the fall. This picture is about an hour after it happened. She kept saying "I'm fine." Over the next couple days it turned into quite the scab... poor girl.

Made my day

I just put the girls to bed. Ahhhh. It's 7:40 and now I get to curl up to this great book I'm reading. If you don't know about The Pioneer Woman, you must learn! I will give details after I get to meet her at a book signing tomorrow night! I'm so excited! What do you say to someone famous that you feel you know personally because you read all about her every day? I've been thinking of it all day and haven't come up with anything...
The reason I decided to post tonight is because of Ava, she just said the sweetest thing EVER and I didn't want to forget. She has been a handful the past few weeks. Sickness, LOTS of change, and a trip to St. George (so much fun, more on that to come as well) have all been too much for her little self to handle. I'm happy to report that in the 3 days we've been home and on a normal schedule, with me being able to spend a lot of time with her, she has turned back into a nice child :) Hallelujah!
I was holding her, snuggling before I laid her in her crib for the night. I was giving her kisses telling her "I love you so much" she then grabbed my face in her two hands while looking at me and said "I luz you too much" and then laid her head on my shoulder! Translation for luz = love :) It absolutely melted my heart and totally made my day. Having rough, stressful days over and over again can be overwhelming but then you get blessings along the way that bring you back to what really matters in life. A beautiful, healthy family that you get to spend forever with! How lucky am I?
