Dance Party and Elmo

Quinn came over this week to play. We had so much fun. Quinn LOVED this talking Elmo. He kind of scared her at times but then she would break out this huge grin, how cute!

Ava just wanted to hug him.

And then, Ava just wanted to dance! She walks up to the computer and says "Dance". She will only accept one song - Miley Cyrus, Party in the USA. As soon as it starts, this is what happens...

And then, she stopped dead in her tracks because she saw this...
She is obsessed with shoes, especially flip flops. She wears them around the house all day, not caring for a minute who's they are or how big they might be.

And, just because she's so stinkin' cute...
I am in love!

This Girl...

Absolutely melts my heart! She is so much fun. Talking non stop, copying every little thing we do, and just being her cute self. We love, love, love her to pieces!!!

It's been WAY too long!!!

Wow. I am still here. I need to stop complaining so much. Please excuse me :) Besides being a mom, wife, working pretty much full time and trying to run a household, there hasn't been a whole lot going on at our house. We were lucky enough to head down to St. George (again) for Easter weekend. We had so much fun with Tiff and Nate and my cute nephew and nieces. The weather wasn't the warmest but better than the rain and snow here. Lots of swimming, baseball games and eating! My kind of vacation...

Ava loved the games. She wanted to sit in this chair, eat sunflower seeds, and would yell
"Go Jed" with her hands up to her mouth. We got quite a laugh out of it.

Seriously, OUT OF CONTROL!

I'm not quite sure what happened to my peaceful little life. Holy cow, I feel like things are totally out of control right now. I need to find a balance, quick. I have been on the verge of tears all day today. I really shouldn't be complaining! I'm just thinking out loud. If I can just remember to breath, I think I'll be alright! One very bright spot in the craziness happened to arrive on Monday....

Memphis David Strong! After HOURS of labor, Martsi had her baby. There was a weird mess up at the hospital that caused a major delay in delivery but at 10:30 p.m. this little guy showed up. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. This was the only shot I got where he wasn't crying. He wanted to hold Martsi's hand and have it touch his face. As soon as she did this, he calmed right down :) There is absolutely nothing greater than a new baby.
