What? Where did 3 years go? It was Ava's birthday yesterday. Oh, how I love this little one. We had a great day... pancake breakfast, presents, hanging out, running a few birthday errands, dinner at Joe's crab shack, and then a family shin dig at the house. I should have gone to bed happy but I'm having a major problem with this girl of mine. I shouldn't ruin her birthday post with negative so I'll just say the bullying has to stop! It would be so sad for her to have this reputation. She can be the cutest, sweetest child so I need to figure out how to get that side to come out all the time.
We are totally smitten over her and yes, she runs the household. She is acting so mature lately. Not needing to be in a cart for errands is one of my favorites. Strapping herself in her car seat. Her imagination in playing is so cute! She is still in love with movies but her real love is her "blah" and thumb. They go together, she will not suck her thumb without the blanket. I know she is too old for such things but I'm afraid to take the blanket away. So, I'll tackle that beast later :)
